Next KSPE Louisville Meeting - Friday, March 19, 2010

KSPE Louisville is pleased to announce that Luckett & Farley will be speaking at the next meeting.  They will be speaking about the UofL Football Stadium Expansion project.

Congratulations to new PEs who passed their PE exam in 2009.  The PE Induction Ceremony will also be held at the March meeting.  2009 new PEs are invited to attend the induction ceremony along with their guest, complements of KSPE Louisville.

Please Note: If you pre-register for the meeting before Tuesday the week of the meeting, the cost of the luncheon is $15.   If you do not pre-register, or register after the cut-off date, the luncheon cost is $20.

MathCounts

THANK YOU to all volunteers who assisted with the local MathCounts competition and made it such a success.

The state MathCounts competition will be held March 19 & 20, 2010 in Louisville.  Please consider volunteering at the event!

Engineers' Week Banquet

THANK YOU to all volunteers, sponsors and attendees who made the Engineers' Week Banquet a success.  Photos of the evening at Louisville Slugger Field will be posted soon.

The Banquet Committee spends months planning the event each year in the hopes of creating an evening of enjoyment, fellowship and celebration of the engineering profession.  We would like your help in making next year's Banquet even better than the last. Outreach for Haiti

Your KSPE Louisville Chapter is pleased to announce their support of Edge Outreach in their efforts to bring clean drinking water through portable systems to earthquake survivors in Haiti.  KSPE Louisville's $5,000 pledge will go towards sponsoring a portable water treatment system and travel expenses for the volunteer installation team.

Mr. Mark Hogg, the Executive Director of Edge Outreach, will be speaking at our May 2010 meeting.

Bike to Create a World Free of MS
