Position Title: Construction Inspection Manager
Position Description: JTL is seeking a Construction Administration/Inspection Manager. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of INDOT and/or KYTC construction project administration and management.
Duties/Responsibilities:  
Education/Experience/Skills Required: • High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology or related field of study is preferred

• 5+ years of INDOT and/or KYTC construction or related experience

• Ability to oversee multiple construction inspectors and projects 

• Possess a valid driver’s license

• Ability to pass a background check

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite

• Good interpersonal, communication, and conceptual thinking skills

• Possess strong math skills, including algebra and geometry for determining areas and volumes

• Ability to work independently 

• Ability to prioritize project assignments to meet competing deadlines

• Attention to detail and effective decision making and organizational skills

• Ability to provide support to local office, as well as availability to occasionally travel to other offices

• Ability to assist in developing strategic approaches and concepts
• Past project management experience is preferred
• INDO INDOT Site Manager certification and experience

• Possess all 6 INDOT Certified Technician credentials

• T Final Construction Record (FCR) and Project Closeout experience is preferred

• Knowledge of all necessary forms and paperwork required for INDOT work
